There is a growing body of evidence that supports the integral role pets play in maintaining human health and wellbeing.
The Cherished Pets team is passionate about the human animal bond and its potential. We know that people prioritise the health and wellbeing of their pets over their own, exposing themselves to significant physical, psychological and social risks. And we know that companion animals are a vital part of healthy, connected communities.
We assist clients who are currently experiencing homelessness or residing in insecure accommodations, provide solutions for pet owners leaving situations of DFV, and support those dealing with challenges in caring for their companion animals due to mental health issues and disabilities. We support elderly and disabled people living independently in our community.
Companion pets are vital to helping people remain healthy and independent for longer.
Through our ground breaking work in this field we have developed the insights and expertise required to provide advice around management of companion pets through a variety of scenarios.
